Wow...

I haven't been impressed with really any VM vid I have seen thus far, but this just blew me out of the water. I like how this was both about Lily helping Veronica find the murder, but it was also about Lily helping Veronica to grow into the person she is supposed to be. And all the pain and saddness that had to come along with that.

This was just amazing. Absolutely amazing. It was sad and sweet, and a little bittersweet because in the end Veronica is still without Lily and Lily can't be there for Veronica.

You did an incredibly job. I have more good things to say, but I think I need to watch it three more times.

I also really love this song... It worked really well for this.

I don't watch VM, and outside of the obvious (Veronica = main character, Lilly = of Who Killed Lilly Cane? fame) know very little about the characters in it, but that was incredible. Shiny and well-paced and emotional and perfect. I want to write you better feedback on it but do not have the time right now so...you will get it! But in the meantime I just had to say omgwow.

Oh Flozie, what an absolutely perfect perfect song. It's one I know well, of course (I LOVE YOU FOR USING AUSTRALIAN MOOSIC), and on hindsight the lyrics are just incredibly appropriate. But what's truly fantabulous about this (and all your other vids of course, but this one SPESHLY) is the emotion that just bungee's off the screen. God my heart was in my throat watching this. My beautiful, tragic heroines.=((
Love the second "can't see through" and "deja vu". The first "come true" just floored me, and the second one, with the skinny-dipping - asjfd. I just adore that refrain - it's so right for them!!
Absolutely gorgeous. You can't imagine how happy I am that you vidded VM - and I hope one day there'll be more.[-o<

It's been a month I haven't seen a video of Veronica Mars that impressed me like yours, I'm so tired of LoVe videos!
Your video is fantastic, clever, and amazingly well edited! I'm very impressed. Great song, and all the scenes you've chosen make sense. Amazing :)

I got here via [info]neptune_video. I think I downloaded this for two reasons - I know your vids (I loved your Hex video, but never gave feedback...I suck) and I love SFK's music like burning.
Anyway. The edits were perfect, something I could tell even while watching it the vid on a computer that isn't that fast. I especially loved the slowed down use of the Lilly hallucination/dream from 1.06. Lilly's hand hitting Veronica's on beat at 1.38 is one of my favourite parts.
Oh, and I wanted to mention how well you edited down the song, because I know it well enough to know it would have been difficult.

Don't know the source, but great job! Interesting what you did with the shows effects and the song. Usually with effects like that I get a sense of softness and nostalgia. In your vid that was there, but it was overlayed with this strong sense of almost creepy surrealism, especially towards the end. I saw another vid that got the creepy surrealism (along with violence), but yours managed to translate that and the nostalgia both.

I loved the refrain in the song. "Until one of us makes the other one come true." It really brought home what these two *meant* to each other and the idea that they are both so young and should have been able to hold on to their innocense (sp? my brain is gone this morning) so much longer than they got the chance to.

That was glorious. It killed me. Lilly. Just, guh. So gorgeous and the emotional tone, the encapsulation of everything - the parallels and just. Yes. So good. So good it has rendered rather more incoherent than I would otherwise be about Lilly's death.
